AirBnB is by far and away my favourite way to travel; I've been so lucky to visit some truly remarkable places with the kindest hosts and compelling decor.
I'm a big believer in the notion that space is meant to be used and it's a way to make traveling like a local a little more affordable and obtainable.
Friends - it's truly the perfect way to be voyeur in another city, slip into the shoes of a person that you could be, if only you lived there.
Most recently I had the privilege of staying in the AirBnB find of the century. I couldn't recommend Damon and Jemma's beautiful Scandinavian inspired space more, located just outside it's a wonderful home base if you ever find yourself in Calgary . From the claw foot tub, cozy nook of a bedroom, essentials stocked pantry and shared solarium space with a full sized fig tree, this retreat is the dreamiest.
